Beliefs

We believe that the Bible, in its entirety, is divine revelation and we submit to the authority of Holy Scripture, acknowledging it to be inerrantly inspired by God and carrying the full weight of His authority.

We trust in the work of God in Christ Jesus for salvation, the forgiveness of sins.

It is in Christ that we have a common bond and fellowship, by the grace of God.

Some have asked us about what we think about Christ Jesus. Here is what we think:

Colossians 1:12-20  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Christ):  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who (Christ) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him (Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him (Christ), and for him (Christ): And he (Christ) is before all things, and by him (Christ) all things consist. And he (Christ) is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he (Christ) might have the preeminence.  For it pleased the Father that in him (Christ) should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Colossians 2:9  For in him (Christ) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Philippians 2:5-11   Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
